Behind the Scenes of Sarah Laughed
I'm often asked for behind-the-scenes details concerning the genesis and making of Sarah Laughed, so I'll share some of the story here too!
I began this cd project a while back at the request of congregants at Beth Hatikvah in Bremerton, Washington, where I do some Cantorial Soloist work and teach Religious School. I knew that it would include the original liturgical music that I used there and at my home shul, Congregation Kol Shalom on Bainbridge Island, and a couple of tunes that were congregational favorites in both communities.
